  4. 1. obtainability. this is about where it's at and if it's easy for people to get there and if a lot of people can get there.

    3. age, gender
4.parking concessions seat types open or closed roof.

  5. 1. What Is One of the Most Important Decisions For Any Sports Team?
    Why?

Location, because you have to have to have a city size enough to support the team / franchise. You have to have a big enough town with the citizens supporting that sport.

    2. What two major factors do you consider when determining the location of your franchise?
    Why?

You want to consider how big the town is (population), and how big the "customer" base is (how many people would go to games etc..)

    3. What Are Some of the Factors That Can Be Included in Demographics?

    -how much can they pay?
-how enthusiastic are they about your sport?
-do they live close (is the town really spread out)?
    -

    4. What Are Some of the Factors Can Be Included In Infrastructure?

-How much will the stadium seat?
    -Parking lots
-Where are other business in relation to the stadium?

    5. Is There Such a Thing As A Perfect City On All The Factors? Why or why not?

I don't know if there could be a perfect city. It would have to have a large overall population, and a large population of enthusiastic people, and one where people are wealthy enough to have disposable income. I think that it could be possible to find one, It might not be the highest value/ranking for each category.

    6. Can A Franchise Move If The Choice of Location Proves To Be Wrong? Why?

They can move if it is part of their contract to do so, it would not be an easy move, and it would cost the franchise a lot of money, so they might think through if it is even worth moving.

    7. When a Franchise Moves Locations, Is It An Easy Move? Why or why not?

First they have to find out if it is possible, then they almost have to start over in a new city, with advertising, etc. The whole process costs them a lot of time and money.

    8. What "P" do you think this lesson in location goes along with? Why?

Place. Place is all about finding the right location for your product or service.

  6. 1. Where you should be located and what promotions you should use because you should go where all the people are at.
    2. You look at if there is a large population that could support a team and would bring in profit and if there is any other cities close that could also bring in people to go to the games.
    3. How much they are willing to pay, do they live close
    4. How much the stadium can hold, what other businesses are close to the stadium, and parking.
5.If a city that is large and is craving a sports team then that would probably be a perfect city.
    6. Yes but it would cost alot of money to move and might make the financial system worse.
    7. No because you have to restart your fan base and also spend all new money to buy stadium and other things.
    8. Place because where you put your team is huge

  7. 1. The location is the most important decision for a sports team because it has to be somewhere where there is large amount of people.
    2. Population, and Businesses because it has to be in a big city like chicago or new york and there should be big business in the city that can be the teams sponsors.
    3. Ticket price and how much are the people devoted to people?
    4. Stadium, the stands, parking and business close to the stadium.
    5. No, because some cities would ve large population but less devoted to football.
    6. yes, but it would be very hard since people are used to the old location of the stadium.
    7. it's not an easy move. You would have to deal with new problems such as parkings and built a new stadium.
    8. Place

    ReplyDelete
  8. 1.Location, because wherever you have your stadium your going to want it to be in a place where a lot of people live by or in a nicer place attracting people to come.
    2. You will want to know the population of the people that live in the city where you will place the stadium, and you will want to know how many people you will plan on fitting in the stadium to base what city has the right population and depending on how many people from out of state would attend the game.
    3. How much are people willing to pay, and where the people live
    4. How many people will the stadium seat, the parking areas, and where other businesses are located according to where the stadium is.
5.I don't really think so, but there could be something really close to it but maybe just lacking one thing that another team (stadium) would have better
    6. yes, but honestly it would make more financial problems which would be good for the franchise.
    7. No, it probably wouldnt be very easy because you would have to deal with a whole bunch of new problems.
8.Place because its determining where you would want to have your stadium

  9. 1. Location: because when finding an area you should look at the population of that area and whether or not you'll be able to sell out for your games.

    2. How much people will pay to get in to the game and how many people there are.

    3. Whether people like it and how much they'll pay.

    4. Locations of other business around that area and how much space you have for parking.

    5. No: not one place will be perfect because there is always that chance of something going wrong or there already is something wrong with it.

    6. Yes it can be moved. It is up to that person that runs the business though whether they want to move it.

    7. No it is not easy because then everyone that enjoyed going, will probably have to drive even farther to get to the games, which makes it harder on the people that run the business.

    8. Place because it determines where you want to set up your stadium.

    ReplyDelete
  10. 1. Where the team should be located. What promotions should be run. How many people are willing to attend the games.

    2. How many people will actually come, because you don't want to build a stadium where no one will come. Also how much room there is, because you don't want to build a stadium but then have no room for a parking lot.

    3. IF people like it or not and how much they will pay.

    4. The location of local business around the area. Space for parking.

    5. No, because there can always be the chance of something going wrong.

    6. Yes, but it would cost a ton of money.

    7. No, because they would have to like start over and redo every thing they just did.

    8. Place, because its dealing with where to put the stadium.

  11. 1. Location. Location cannot be changed easily after it has been chosen and it will affect most aspects of your business. So if you choose an unfavorable location you will have to live with it forever.

    2. The amount of people who are dedicated to football and your team. The number of people in the town and surronding area, whether there are enough to support your business.

    3. Almost everything can be included in the demographic, what matters is the factors that can be included in the demographic that affect your business. Such as amount of disposable income, dedication to foot ball, and amount they are willing to pay for the tickets.

    4. Do you have enough room for your fans. How many concession booths should you have and the spacing. How many sections should you have for you seating. How much space is available for parking.

    5. There is hypothetically, but in reality it is near impossible to find a perfect city which has everything you want in it.

    6. You can but it is not easy.

    7. It is not an easy move. Your former costumers might feel betrayed, you'll have to find a new core fan base and it is expansive to do.

    8. It could be considered product, but a better way to look at it is placement. Since it is about access and all the other aspects of placement.

Doubt that would work. Because it could move away from what little fans it has. And where would their money be?

    7. When a Franchise Moves Locations, Is It An Easy Move? Why or why not?
No. because if it didn’t work out at first that means they don’t have a ton of money so that could be hard to move if they don’t have a financial blanket.
